Besides Ultrasound guided sclerotherapy, Clarivein occlusion catheter system is an advance approach in effective treatment of significant varicose vein. The Clarivein system is a catheter with a unique rotating dispersion tip. This promotes controlled, dispersed and effective coverage of a sclerosant to treat the problem vein. The catheter is a slim, thin catheter that is temporarily inserted into the treated vein through a pin-sized entrance point in the leg.

The procedure is performed in the doctor’s office and takes little time. It is less painful than other minimally invasive peripheral vascular options. Little anaesthetic is required and the patient can return to normal activity soon after the procedure.
